First Impressions. Two Days, Five States, 1000 Miles.

Two days. Five states. 1000 miles. Three successful charging systems. Two motel charging fails. We are having lots of fun with some occasional minor frustration while figuring out long distance EV travel. Charging takes a bit longer than we expected. It hasnt been a problem for us since we are retired snd lazy, but I wouldn’t recommend EV travel if you are in a hurry. So far we have been able to combine charging with a meal break or a walk.  The states: We left Washington, then crossed Oregon, Idaho and Utah. Tonight we stopped in Wyoming.  We will arrive at our destination in Colorado tomorrow. We have used three different charging systems (so far) during our travels.  Charge Point, Electrify America and GM Energy/EVGo each have their own phone app and were easy to use after the initial head scratching.
